@packslight: Knowledge transfer has to be a part of the wealth transfer. We cannot be the blow it generation!!! #wealthymindset #wealthmanagement #richdadpoordad
I’m so curious to see the next generation of my family. My parents immigrated to the US. My mother’s father came from a wealthy family but was disowned bc he married my grandmother. He go to the US and eventually learned how to invest. He never taught my mom. She learned a little. I took a financial literacy course almost 2 years ago and learned a lot. I had my brother take a literacy class early in hs. I’ve been investing for a year now. I’m curious to see how my children will end up and their thoughts around money. 3/4 of my grandparents had also vastly different money views but they had various assets but didn’t explain. I ask but they are tight lipped bc they think I’m going to ask for money. Noooo how do I grow mine. Plus idk if they are leaving me an inheritance. I honestly won’t bank on it but it would be nice if I got a lump sum.

username13885489943 :
my Jamaican grandparents built a million pound estate in just 20 yrs then my mum and aunt basically squandered it. My aunt spent her share on alcohol, cigarettes and rent. My mum bought a house but allowed her boyfriend to ruin it so it's gone down in value plus the boyfriend is scheming to get the house (she won't listen and the law is on his side...) so I'm starting from scratch again....
