As a woman in the automotive industry, I LOVE seeing this. Letting girls know at a young age they are smart, capable, can work with their hands, but they don’t have to sacrifice their whimsy and sparkles is one of the most wonderful and important things I’ve ever seen. Good job dad! By the time our daughter was out on her own, she could change a tire, change oil in her truck, do front brakes, simple household repairs and weld (actually really good!). Our son could cook, bake, clean, do laundry and diaper/tend to a baby. We didn’t want either of them to ever be in a position where they felt they HAD to depend on a spouse/partner. Best decision ever. Keep raising her to be a strong, independent person!
