If I were living in America, and I don't criticize America from a Japanese perspective. That's because America has its own culture and history, and there's so much I don't know. Neither my grandparents, nor my parents live in that world. I believe that ignorance is a sin. Compassion for others doesn't come from self-assertion. It comes from humility and gaining recognition from others.

I’m here on a 1 year visa and I’ve been here for 1 week so far and everyone has been so kind and welcoming to me even though my Japanese is scuffed. I guess maybe im more lucky 🤷 but then again it’s only been 1 week that could change 😂

I had a romanticized version of Japan and got so excited about learning the culture and he language. I bought so many books to start learning the language and cooking the food and then I went on a rabbit hole of learning the history and the political issues and was shocked and surprised. But now I know I can still learn the language and appreciate the culture but definitely be aware of the issues

as someone who’s deciding to move there for two years in January I honestly think your perspectives and videos are not hate but just criticism and having open and honest discussions about what goes on in the country it gives better insight and that’s completely normal to do honestly. as someone who lives in America many people love the states but we also criticize issues that go on because the only way to create a pattern of change since every countries government definitely needs their people to express their opinon
