@ashtoncarter__: Maybe mom hot takes but here's some wisdom I've gleaned the last 4ish years of being a mom - Screen time isn't the problem, using it as your only tool is. - You don't have to entertain your kids 24/7... boredom is actually good for them, my kids end of playing well together when they get bored and their imaginations run wild. - Not every meltdown needs a 10 minute conversation. Normalize not over explaining to your toddler why they went to time out, follow up with love and gentle correction. - You can be a loving mom AND still say no without explaining yourself. Mom gets boundaries and you're doing yourself a disservice when you don't hold them! - You're allowed to parent in a way people don't agree with.
