I never get pulled over then one night I was picking my brother up from work and a cop gets behind me for about 2 miles then turns off then 5 miles down the road he came flying up on me pulls me over because I had a warrant for my arrest.

Case law Kansas v. Glover says police can make a stop when they know the registered owner has a suspended or revoked license. and State v. Dunlap states that an officer make extend a stop based on the registered owner having a suspended or revoked license is not driving to determine the vehicle is being operated legally.

Most people who don’t carry a drivers license are either suspended or revoked. In rare cases they just forget it sometimes but you should be able to have a picture of it too if you’re all good to drive.

I got pulled over in Groveport recently and they accused me of being under the influence and had to do the field sobriety test and passed and had a expired license but i had insurance and haven’t gotten pulled over in over 20 years so they ended up letting me drive off
