I don’t remember where I heard it, but it’s something I’ve shared with my son, who is now 7. It was “You can’t, until you can”. We have different variations like “You couldn’t, until you could”. When he finally accomplishes something after “having trouble” I will give him his flowers and say, “See, you couldn’t”, and he will finish with “Until I could”. It’s hard out here being a single dad, but I’m doing the best I can.

It's weird, this world doesn't seem to be the same as the 80's & 90's and even the 2000's for a bit.. I just don't understand why life and walki no around doesn't seem real. I do not think I'm crazy. Things are just so different. It kinda just makes me sad when I see the videos of the 80's and 90's because it's like it wasn't even real but was the realest times ever! Where are we?

Best thing my dad ever did for me was let me figure it out for myself. He let me fail to figure out how to do it for myself. Best lesson he taught me. Taught me that no one’s coming to help me but me. Made me a successful man. Didn’t understand that lesson as a kid but once I got older I thanked him In tears.
