@thatllberight: VAT refund / detaxe area at Paris airport in Terminal 2C. Charles de Gaulle (CDG). The refund area is just between doors 12 and 14 as you enter the departures terminal. This is before you check in or go through security. Scan your forms first at the machine. Green/approved means you don’t have to see an officer at the desk. Red means you need to line up to speak with an agent. You’ll need your passport and boarding pass as well as the goods in question. When we went through the agents were getting people to show their purchases - a few had to dig through their luggage. Went pretty fast but you should build in some extra time to be on the safe side. There was also another detaxe area after security on the way to the gates but it’s probably better to go through the first desk if you plan to check your luggage for your flight. #charlesdegaulle #vatrefund #detaxe
