This is the saddest thing i’ve seen when i’m in Sa Pa. 🥺 children have to work for their families. Sila na super bata pa have to experience this. And yung iba na may carry pa na babies sa likod tapos nagbbenta ng mga wallets and other products. 🥺🥺

Had a young boy around 5yo came up to me around 11pm selling souvenirs. We weren't looking for any souvenirs so we gently turned him down, poor boy broke down on the spot, crying. It broke my heart honestly

I agree. We were strolling around Sapa late at night, but they were still dancing. The youngest was probably around 2–3 years old. :((

Saw those kids around 5am dancing continuously when i came back 8am 10am 12pm3pm5pm and until 12 midnight they’re still there dancing non stop

grabe to 😭 tapos pumunta pa kami ng Sapa, december and sobrang lamig. namumula na mga pisngi nila pero sige pa din sila sa sayaw kahit gabi na 😭

yes nung una naaawa ako sa kanila, yung mga bata.. pero what if sa hirap ng buhay gusto ndin nila, at baka hindi nmn lahat is napipilitan kundi gusto tlgang tumulong sa pamilya, let’s stop romanticising that life is fair, hindi tlga patas ang mundo lalo na ang buhay, we need to do something to survive, mas maganda na yan kaysa sa mga bata sa atin na di nga sumasayaw sa daan pero nandurukot nmn, to be fair walang magnanakaw and mandurukot sa Hanoi and Sapa kc andaming pulis but then again di nila pinipigilan ung mga entertainers para kumita kc at least nagwowork cla ng marangal 🥹🫶🏻

I was in Sapa last week, and I saw all these kids with babies at their back, as an emotional person, I was literally crying, how could they allow this one. I don't even find it amusing or cute, it's heartbreaking 🥺

they were out at 10pm the other night and a woman wanted kiss on the cheek and when the child shook her head no, she offered her more. it broke my heart to see :((

I think this is something the government needs to address. We saw these kids dancing late at night and then selling keychains and wallets afterward. It was honestly heartbreaking to witness. I know Sapa is becoming more popular with tourists, but seeing what appears to be child labor is really sad. These children deserve to enjoy their childhood, not work late into the night. 😔

Nakita ko din ‘to no’bg nagpunta kami sa SA PA last day. It’s cute pero nalulungkot ako na ginagawang pang hakot nang parents nila ang walang muwang na mga bata na yan. Tinignan lang namin pero di kami tumigil. Walang sense na binibigyan sila nang pera.
