Why are people saying they don’t give back to their fans? We’ve literally seen them take kids from their community to the mall and buy them gifts. They help the people around them, the same people who were there even when they themselves were struggling.
Yes, we are viewers. I’ve been a fan since the beginning too. But are they really obligated to give directly to viewers? Don’t people realize that the individuals they’re helping now are the same ones who supported them before they had cameras, before they had views, and before anyone even knew who they were?
The Capinpin brothers’ lives didn’t just start when they hit the record button. They already had a story, struggles, and people who stood by them long before content creation. Those are the people they’re choosing to give back to now.
For example, during Father’s Day, they bought a car for their uncle, the same person who helped them when they had nothing. That shows loyalty and gratitude, not selfishness. So why are they being blamed for that? Content creators don’t all have the same responsibility or approach when it comes to giving back. Some choose to give to strangers or their audience, while others prioritize the people who were part of their journey from the start. There’s nothing wrong with choosing to uplift your own community first, especially if those people played a real role in your success. Personally, I’d rather see them help the people who stayed with them during their lowest moments and continue supporting those around them, instead of feeling pressured to give to viewers who only came in after they became successful.
Ivana on the other hand already came from a financially stable background before her fame, so her way of giving back includes helping her viewers more directly. On the other hand, the Capinpin brothers focus on helping their family, close connections, and local community.
At the end of the day, they’re both helping just in different ways.
