How about use good construction adhesive with flat metal or plastic on the backside of the panel… It will not re-break🙄💯👍🏻

this is going to come as a shock to you, but I'm pretty sure that ever since plastic has been used in vehicles, people have in fact been using glue to repair it. not to mention, plastic welders were invented in 1930...
