I literally was borderline diabetic (I also have PCOS) and they told me that they won’t cover it until I’m diabetic which is IRREVERSIBLE 😭 literally insurance is awful with this

I can’t even get a doctor to put in a prescription at all.. mind you I gained 40 lbs in 2 months from pcos and have not been able to get myself back to normal since!

Ughh tell me about it. I was doing great on Zepbound with my pcos before my insurance stopped covering. Idek what to do now, my symptoms are coming back and I feel awful.

My health insurance right now is the same, unless I’m type 2 diabetic, and they’re only covering Ozempic. I have PCOS (which is now PMOS!) and I’m like ???? Hello???? I’m such a GREAT CANDIDATE!!!

My insurance denies anyone for a glp1 no matter the diagnosis and we have to go through a 6 month weight loss program. I need it for pcos management too. Guess who’s in month 2 of hell. I basically have an ed again.

It’s like most diabetic meds-insurance won’t approve it unless you showed you’ve tried metformin (cheapest and oldest) and potential another therapy/weight loss program or whatever before they approve this.

pcos in the UK, asked my doctor how to balance my hormones so I can stop thinking about food (like when i was pregnant, only times I've been a stable weight) she just said "I'm not giving you the injections" wasn't even what I wanted! (now I've researched them I do)
