Sometimes we confuse ourselves within what makes our story worth reading. Your story is not ordinary, or normal. But neither is it predestined. As if everything you do was meant to happen so it amounts to nothing. Destiny is not chosen. It’s stolen. You can’t sit and wait for life to happen. Sit and expect pages to write themselves. You have to get up each day and live, create moments and be better than the version you presented yesterday. You are the narrator of your story. You are the story teller. Only you can write it in such a beautiful way. Only you can tell it in a way that’s justified. Don’t let anyone tell you your pages are distasteful. That your chapters are plain. That your book is unfulfilled. Because no one knows how much you have witnessed or been through. The time and effort it took or will take to fully feel like you’re in control of your story. And neither is your story fixed. It’s possible to rewrite it. You don’t need to restart, or try to erase anything. Everything that happened presents the you that shows up today and tomorrow. Your book does not need to be perfect. It just has to be yours. It needs your voice. Your challenges. Your triumphs. Your victory’s and losses. It needs you to even exist. It needs you to create a story. Destiny, is a gift. Because it’s not just about what’s going to happen. But what you can do to make things happen. Stop worrying about what ifs. Or what you couldn’t do. Or what you think you can’t do. Instead of pondering. Become who your meant to be. Not someone’s idea, not someone’s perception or opinion. But your own definition of a story. And when you write your last words. You’ll realize that you never needed to start over or rewrite anything. You just needed a new perspective. And the version of you that saw nothing in your book, will love the entire story. Because you got to live through it.
