if the tow package is just bolting down the ball then it's difficult to have a universal connection but if it's the other kind that is the square then there is pieces that have multiple balls and I personally have one that has 3 different ball sizes and a tow hook

they Make trailer hitches that you just rotate to get the different sized balls for towing trailers... that style trailer hitch works just fine for my light utility trailer while hauling yard waste of less than 1,000 lb. I realize it wouldn't handle some of the stuff my dad tows with his F350, but the all-in-one is good enough for what I do with my Crosstrek.
