@maxlom_notes: 1. You think the choice got bigger because swipes are endless. But the brain works differently than an algorithm. When there are too many options, decision paralysis turns on, and you don’t choose the best - you don’t choose at all. You get stuck between “maybe there’s someone better” and “this one is okay,” and in the end you lose both. 2. You get used to judging people like cards, where there’s a photo, a couple of facts, and a quick conclusion. It saves time, but it kills depth. You stop seeing nuance, real reactions, the person’s energy in real life. In the end you reject people you could have had a real connection with because they didn’t pass a 3-second filter. 3. You become more cautious than needed because you’ve seen too many stories about betrayal and disappointment. You enter communication already guarded, distant, with an inner “let’s see if they will lie.” And this protection makes you colder than you really are, people feel it and don’t open up around you. 4. You get used to how easy it is to replace someone. Any conflict, the smallest discomfort, and inside there is a thought, “it’s easier to find someone new than to work through this.” But real closeness is built in working through things. When you constantly leave at the first difficulty, you never reach the level where relationships become real. 5. You start playing a role because you know you are being evaluated. You adjust, edit yourself, think about how to look more attractive, more interesting, more “right.” But in this process you lose your real self. And even if you get chosen, they don’t choose you - they choose the version you created. 💭 Are you getting closer, or do you step back every time at the right moment so it doesn’t become too real? 🎁 Comment “GUIDE” if you want the free relationship guide about how to build connection instead of constantly choosing. 🔔 Follow for deeper insights about relationship dynamics. #maxlomnotes #relationships #psychology
