@movementgems: Structural balance isn’t a one size fits all approach. Based on training history, injury history, and lifestyle, some people may have deficits others don’t. The point of structural balance training is to identify your weakest links, and as a coach - that is my first priority when working with new clients. The movements shown in this video were some of my weakest links in the beginning of this journey. They may not be yours. When I started back extension, I couldn’t do a single 2 leg bodyweight rep without pain. I had to regress. But today, I’m pain free because I stuck with it. Keep showing up. Keep obsessing over finding a pain free regression you CAN do. You only lose in the journey of back pain when you decide to quit and accept it as part of your life. It doesn’t have to be that way.

I hundred percent agree with you I have three bulging discs and mild scoliosis. Strength training is the only thing that really truly helped my back after three years of suffering.

Yeah probably failed to mention, discs aren’t a muscle. I’m dealing with it now. Hoping CT guided injection with push the nerves away to be pain free enough to do this & strengthen my core to avoid any issues. For anyone else with sciatica due to a bulge. Hang in gang, we got this 😭
