Watching your child at that age, that for me has been my hardest. I’m 29 and I still have nightmares, I’m constantly looking for signs Somebody is unsafe with children, I don’t trust anybody. I mean anybody. With my kids who are 12-under one-year-old. It’s exhausting.

its the older i get for me. Each time I pass one of their ages and think about how old i was i get sick. or when my baby brother/little cousins hits an age i was when it happened and I just see how young they are

I was 7 the first time. I work in childcare now and have nieces and nephews and seeing them at the ages I was when things happened to me is heart breaking, I just hope everyday that they don’t have to go through the things I did growing up.

I was about 4 when my uncle started "playing" with me and told me that i would be the one to get in trouble if j said anything so i became violent and the problem child until i was old enough and far enough away to say something and they didnt believe me still dont...always listen to children when they tell u something is wrong and watching any age children for signs of withdrawl or violence bc those r signs something is happening also very early signs of inappropriate self touch or playing with others in the same manners.i hope this helps someone.
