savings is so much, as long as emergency fund covers 6 months the rest of the money should be working for you not losing value to inflation

Not sure if it’s just a regular savings but if you have any local credit unions they might offer higher yield savings so you can grow the money. Even if u invest u could also put some of it in a cd or something to not touch it
