Short answer: yes… but not the way most people are using it. Most people open a box and tuck it in the back, thinking it’s working. But if it’s not exposed to circulating air, it can’t do much. What I shared in the article: ✔ Use a shallow container so more surface area is exposed ✔ Replace it about every 30 days ✔ For stronger odors, pair it with something like charcoal But the biggest takeaway is this… Baking soda doesn’t fix the source. If there’s spoiled food, spills, or moisture, the odor will keep coming back until that’s handled first. Cleaning isn’t just about what you can smell. It’s about what’s causing it.
