Chiharu Shiota is known for her immersive, large scale installations woven from intricate webs of thread, and seeing them in person was so cool. Her work tells a deeply personal story in a way that feels both intimate and expansive. For their member night, they also had cute crafts, food and drinks by The Wild Fox, and a DJ set by Seiji Oda. If you love art events like this, definitely become a member of the Asian Art Museum and come visit.
