It really comes down to your RV lifestyle. I have a Sprinter Class B, and it’s perfect for us. You can park it almost anywhere a regular car fits, so city and beach parking are no problem. Some roads, especially in national parks, have size restrictions, but a short-wheelbase Sprinter handles those with no issues. Had it for 15 years and it’s still going strong.

I though in for humor, my 1973 class b GMC 27’ motorhome. Driving height of 7’9” ( parked, lowered 7’3”) 27’ long, 7’5” wide. 455 front wheel drive.
