I would seek a second opinion if I were her. Lack of swelling in the feet should not rule out lymphedema or benefit of a pneumatic compression pump.

Wait...my doctor told me my feet constantly getting super swollen was due to my venous insufficiency. I do have lipadema. Now I am confused.

Lipedema is absolutely helped by a pump. Insurance probably won’t cover it because they are so behind in recognizing Lipedema as a legitimate issue, but it would for sure help!

I get it in my feet when we drive from Massachusetts to the south , feet smell up for days and I don’t know why. I’m short and feel like maybe the car seat cuts my circulation off.

Thank you for explaining, last week I was diagnosed with limphedema stage 2, I. Am getting limphatic drainage massages, compression therapy on my legs, and compression bandages on 3/4 of my feet, and legs up to right before the knee. Plus, I take furosemide 20 mg a day diuretic.
