@pileofshamestudio: Kurdoss Valentian, the Craven King, is a bitter and vengeful ruler among the Nighthaunt — a fallen monarch cursed by Nagash to forever covet power he can never truly reclaim. Surrounded by his ghostly court, he drifts across the battlefield, a symbol of greed, envy, and eternal torment. This model is part of my “Procession of Mutilation” Nighthaunt army, where I’ve pushed heavy gore and blood effects across every miniature. The aim is to contrast the ethereal nature of the Nighthaunt with something far more brutal and unsettling. For Kurdoss, I wanted him to feel like a truly imposing centrepiece, with the gore effects worked into both the model and his throne, helping tell the story of a king consumed by violence and decay.
