I have been wanting to do art on the side, not as a full-time job, but I know I still may have to do taxes for my art, so is there anyway you could help explain it to someone wanting to do it? I have been trying to find out but Google is so unhelpful and it makes me too scared to try

ALWAYS SET ASIDE MONEY. 30% is the norm, I personally do 20% because I have a little bit taken out from my paycheck. Doesn't matter how much you make! BUT you can write off expenses. I write off my CSP subscription because I use it on my iPad exclusive for business (commissions, merch designing, etc). Yes it sucks, but you don't wanna get hit with penalties down the line; the IRS can audit your past 7 years (iirc)
