@mxreginaspade: Yes, I almost fell off the stage during my performance at @Queen of The West Burly Fest 🙄 I could list all of the reasons why it went wrong, but as a performer with over 25 years of on stage experience the number one rule I know is that no matter what, the show must go on. Was it embarrassing to mess up so obviously at my festival debut? Absolutely. But the beauty of at least this festival was that not a single person made me feel bad about it, but otherwise commiserated or was empathetic about it. All I can do is radically accept that it happened and rehearse more to reduce my likelihood of having a repeat situation. I share this in the vein of @Jessthndr and @Bella Sin and every dancer and stage performer I’ve ever known because rarely is a performance perfect and learning from our mishaps is just as important as learning from our accomplishments. Also, at least my 🍑 still looked good 😅
