USD$1,440 total with all extra charges 440 total with all extra charges/ 2 nights / 2 adults breakfast & multi course dinner included with access to all public onsens Pros 🟢Private open air onsen 🟢Access to public onsens 🟢24/7 room service through a special QR code that was specific to our rooms and easy to navigate online 🟢Meals were delicious and staff was very professional and quick while serving us 🟢Took time to explain our meals to us 🟢Our room was spacious and very clean 🟢Everywhere we looked it was beautiful inside the ryokan and around us 🟢Fresh Bathrobes, Samue and Yukata provided daily with our specific size 🟢Free drinks were always restocked 🟢Very accommodating to requests! I have a medical condition that requires me to drink more water than normal and they kept a water pitcher full in my room! This was very meaningful to me. 🟢Rooms were all individually temperature controlled and very easy to use 🟢Room floors were heated in the bathroom and eating area 🟢Separate eating and sleeping areas 🟢Hands free toto toilet — I didn’t touch it once the whole time I was there 🟢Staff did an excellent job at remembering us 🟢English was spoken more widely than we anticipated 🟢Foreigner friendly 🟢20min bus ride to Ropeway that will take you to Owakudani 🟢Staff waited for our return from leaving the Ryokan 🟢Free WiFi provided was faster than the speed of light 🟢Whole Ryokan building has many heated wood floors or tatami mats and I liked that we did not have to keep up with our shoes and the staff took them for us at the reception area Neutrals 🟡Buses in the area are main way to get to the Ryokan and they are slightly confusing to navigate because it’s primarily in Japanese 🟡Cell service was not always the best — not their fault at all.
