Respect the right for people believe what they want, beliefs themselves don’t inherently deserve respect just because they are religious in nature. Believing Jesus died for your sins does not deserve any more respect than believing the moon is made out of cheese

I will never respect theistic religions. I can respect people as individuals. Unfortunately theistic religions don’t respect, and I won’t respect it. Whether you believe or don’t. They influence our laws and seek to control our autonomy to fit their beliefs. Asking for respect while it isn’t given isn’t fair. Pressuring those who don’t believe, or are in vulnerable states to is beyond wrong. Theistic religions do much more harm than they realize, even if it’s a personal belief to one, it contributes to more radical views, and complacency in unruly behavior. The fact is, there is no imaginary being in the sky. If there was, it is unjust, immoral, and not as all loving that religious people claim. It contradicts itself.

I feel respect is an earned thing. They don't respect my boundaries when they try and shove jesus down my throat, so no I don't respect christians.

So if an atheist is trying to inform me about atheism, im free to disrespect them, generally if someone is yelling and saying YOULL GO TO HELL, by all means disrespect them, but if they aren't doing that i dont think ANYONE voicing their beliefs should be disrespected
