My dad didn’t like tattoos. He did smile when he first saw the words “don’t forget to fly.” Tattooed on my inner forearm, that was advice he’d received from his flight instructor after WWII.

my college connection lady in HS was like hahaha tattoo day right bc I suppose they were giving out fake tattoos the day before and I just looked at her and was like "they are real"

People are such assholes! I’m not that heavily tattooed and it happens to me all the time and been more tattooed recently late 40s just in the 50 and you get the same comments. I can’t wait to get more.!! Just starting my legs lol

I have people ask me how old each of my tattoos are. I don't know why they ask that. Why do they care? I don't wanna go through the age of each of my tattoos. I never know what to say.

Would love to hear your journey about starting your tattooing journey when you weren’t a “fresh adult” I’m always so impressed how people can apprentice and learn it all down the road and would love to hear how that process was for you at 29? So far i have one small hand piece and a whole lower arm covered in patchwork, all i get at the moment is the occasional dirty look from older people in M&S. I intend to get both arms fully decked out, and will have a couple leg pieces in the next couple month. We’ll see how it goes as time goes on.
