He may need a moment to reset before he pours into everything and everyone else. That quiet time is how he keeps himself grounded. And the car becomes a transition space where he can psychologically reset before entering the home. That space and time is extremely important for his overall mental health. Don’t strip that from him because you want his process to look a certain way. Give him space without resistance. That’s how you support a man who’s trying to show up right.
