@cayleehammack: False Rose of Jericho (Selaginella lepidophylla) is a poikilohydric little plant, native to the Chihuahuan Desert. All poikilohydric means is that they can’t regulate their water content. They are a type of spikemoss that becomes a tumbleweed in their dry dormant phase, & will float around until it finds moisture, then it rehydrates itself in its new surroundings. I love finding these at Easter & sending to friends, it is a magical reminder that in the right place with the right care, things will renew & refresh 🧡 Happy Good Friday!
