Have we forgotten magic shows ? How magicians can pull a car out of thin air in front of a live audience ? Or how a person can disappear right before your eyes ? I’ll bet your answer is “slide of hand” or “trap doors” being the explanation. Well…yes. The audience is in the front, not close enough to see the trap doors and too focused on trying to “see” the magic and you’re looking at the wrong thing. Well…while there was an audience watching this launch live, keep in mind that nobody was nearby close enough to call out any type of “trap doors” or anything to prove validity. Only thing I disagree with you about is the “everything we have is on this rock”. This planet will eventually be unlivable. The sun is expanding. For humans to survive we have to leave the planet and likely the solar system. These are the beginning steps (if can actually do it).
