I was single for 6 years. So closed off to even wanting to get to know someone again. For whatever reason I decided to try again. Met someone. Experienced the deepest connection I ever have - (and I’m divorced) it lasted 3 mos then ended abruptly. The whiplash to my nervous system is the most brutal thing I’ve experienced. Of course people can relate. Because this is very normal. And it’s also normal that it hurts. And imma say this too, I hate that some of us live lives where deep meaningful feelings are so rare. It’s definitely not what we were taught life or love would be like. Be kind to yourself in this chapter. Remember, the one who loves never truly loses.
