I feel this too. wasnt the greatest mom at times. ex-husband who was full of rage and jealousy. Hard to live with for 20 years but I did and shouldn't have my kids have harsh memories and I wish I could fix it.

I will never forget being so frustrated and yelling at my son to put his shoes on and he started crying so i sat in the floor wrapped him in my arms and cried to telling him I was so sorry that I shouldn't have yelled bc I was upset at someone else.
