I think meta glasses should be banned in healthcare settings whether it’s the dentist, optometrist, ER, anything. They can pick up other people’s information and that person wouldn’t even know it.

And this is why, after 20+ years of nursing, I'm done. I don't mind being recorded because I am above board on everything. The problem I have is editing… people can manipulate anything and can smear you by omission or commission.

Patients do not understand HIPAA. If I have to afford privacy rights for them, they need to afford privacy rights to every other patient that’s in the hospital. Nobody needs to know who anybody is and you can’t record in a hospital.

I say this all the time. Esp on the ambulance, we’re recorded by doorbell cameras, cameras inside the homes, family, bystanders, patients, you never know.
