this is really bad advice. it's far better to leave the funds there accumulating and then withdraw it at retirement. Absolutely no point in doing qrops compliance

We’ve had a letter from our uk. And stating that we could be liable for tax on our uk pensions in Australia, if we are Australian residents.

Thank you! Feel like this vid was made for me. Left the U.K. in 2024 and investigated moving pension over into my Au super. Been told practically impossible until I withdraw it at U.K. retirement age. No au super funds recognise uk pension funds

I must add the uk Pension contact team are very helpful when you need help organizing this. However I have heard from Australians that the system over here is extremely complicated and need to know absolutely everything about your finances? I will be getting advice when I need to address my retirement affairs.

Be very careful, there are a lot of cowboy financial advisers that promise to do this for you and take short cuts putting you liable for ATO fines
