Girl i genuinely think IBD is one of the worst chronic illnesses someone can have. It takes over your life in so many ways. My mum has it and i genuinely don’t know how she pushes through. People are hear for you ❤️

I hate hate hate living with it. I’m visually impaired and this year has took it out of me. 2 emergency surgeries on my left eye to save my vision and now my right is bad. Facing another emergency surgery on that eye if it doesn’t improve quickly:( no one understands xx

In the beginning you think, if you finally get the diagnosis there will be a resolve. An explanation and a treatment to get better, But for some it leads to more diagnosis’s that just becomes a list at some point. More explanations and more treatments that changes nothing. Pills, infusions, surgeries over and over, to be stuck in a body that betrays you and the thoughts you can’t escape. Forever trying to win battles knowing you will lose the war.
