I love Claude Code. With all that token debacle and all that silence from Anthropic, I sadly cancelled my subscription with them last week and moved on. Now I’m paying seriously less, get 98% of the same results with even easier use.

The timing is wild — they're essentially forcing OpenClaw users to pay separately for API access instead of routing through the subscription. Makes sense from Anthropic's margin standpoint but rough for the power user community that built around it.

They had 2 crack downs in 3 days. And it’s openclaw fault. Why? Because openclaw does not support slower local AI inference. If you check logs you see timeouts because 50 tok/s is to slow!
