Replying to @terra terra843 Edit: Guys I think I misspoke and caused some confusion. When I say “copyright claim” I don’t mean a lawsuit. Swifts team went through quiet channels to start the process. I should’ve said “pointed out similarities” or “went through the channels needed in an attempt to be credited” I used “copyright claim” as it was shorter, to the point and I wanted things to be simple and digestible. Taylor’s Team started the process Eshun’s the scenes and I assume Olivia’s team awarded the credit to avoid backlash or a potential lawsuit. The video was supposed to be more focused on the music not the legalities, I’m a former music student not a law student. I’m also still new to this type of content on here so bear with me please. The Lore behind “The Grudge” by Taylor Swift. OG comment: I tried something different with the editing this time. What do you guys think?
