@markanstead: It’s amazing to think any bottle of wine is in fact a record of the sun and weather experienced in that year of harvest. The weather affects the expression of the grape, whether it is ripe or crisp (its acidity). It also has an effect on tannins, and of course the final level of alcohol. So much about a wine will taste different from year to year if it was made in a place where weather varies. Happy Easter everyone! What are you drinking tonight?
