THE DON. the family owned restaurant renovated in recent years has become a BIG hit for not only the locals, some of whom have been visiting for fifty years (Betty&Bill) but also tourists visiting the area. known for a vast variety of food, as the previous owners wanted to offer numerous dishes to reflect the community they found theirselves surrounded by. current owner, grant reilly claims “it’s a place for everyone, i mean there ain’t a single person who can come here and not find something they like.” the restaurant itself has been around for over ninety years, developing its menu ever since june 21 1936. remaining in the QUINN family ever since. in recent times the restaurant has been facing struggles with some claiming it has lost its ‘spark’ ever since james quinn sadly passed away late fall last year. the current and ONLY owner of THE DON, grant reilly has closed the restaurant down since april saying they are refurbishing and changing a few things around.
