I understand,my mum had dementia and would keep trying to get out of the door we had to put a chain and another lock on in the end. It's so damn hard and not just for the carer but the sufferer too.

I remember these times. Never again. I had a lady with dementia upstairs in her bedroom who never slept and her husband downstairs who always had the tv on full blast day and night he never slept either. He would ring his bell ( a door bell taped to his bed rails) all the time making sure I was still there. I done this 24 hrs a day Sunday from 8pm and Friday 8pm
