This is so accurate, unfortunately. The PTSD that this can cause is so real. 30 years of this for the me personally. But, the part of the story you need to remember is that you are in control of the ending. I’m still looking for my happily ever after, but I know that God will provide that for me in time. Stay strong my fellow survivors!
