I stopped after Lights Out because I adored the audio and never actually read the physical book. I’ve heard really mixed things about Caught Up, so I didn’t want to ruin the high I was on after Lights Out. Do I need to read Caught Up before Game On? Is it essential, or can I skip it? I could write an essay on how much I dislike the sequels. Navessa has a fantastic way of writing characters, to the point it can carry generic/ oddly placed plot lines but the sequels just couldn’t live up to the first book, imo. 😔
