Here’s how the actual chronological order goes in my opinion: Batman Arkham origins initiation DLC (Shows the story of Bruce training to become Batman), Batman Arkham origins, Batman Arkham origins cold cold heart DLC (since it starts one week after the events of the main story), Batman Arkham origins black gate DLC (sets up for asylum), Batman Arkham shadow (sets between origins and before asylum), Batman Arkham knight a matter of family DLC (before the events of Arkham asylum), Batman Arkham asylum, Batman Arkham city (including catwoman dlc), Batman Arkham city Harley Quinn’s revenge dlc (set two weeks after the events of Arkham city), Batman Arkham VR (sets up for Arkham knight I believe), Batman Arkham knight Harley Quinn story pack dlc (Happens before Arkham knight starts), Batman Arkham knight (including the season of infamy dlc sit it happens also during the events of Arkham knight), then the Arkham knight epilogue dlcs with catwoman’s revenge, gcpd lockdown, a flip of a coin, and finally the redhood story dlc. But if you wanted you could count in kill the justice league

I did, Arkham night, origins, asylum, and last city. I just played night first because that was the only game I had seen gameplay of and wanted to try, why I did origins after I don’t really know, think that one was just the cheapest at the time

Chronological is a HUGE no-no. It makes no sense to start with Origins, which has all the mechanics of City, then go to Asylum, which doesn't.
