I thought of sharing this so many times, not to show off or anything, but because I know how it feels when you’re just starting your life here and feel stuck. I didn’t do anything amazing. Honestly, we all go through this phase as international students or immigrants. But this is your reminder: if you’re just starting your journey in this country, Canada can do wonders for you. You just have to put in the effort. Success doesn’t come if you’re waiting for it to show up… you really have to do the work. When I moved here in 2016, life felt magical at first. Then reality hit. I worked jobs I never imagined I’d do, studied during the day, worked nights, came home exhausted with $88 paychecks and tired eyes. And after graduation, when I thought things would finally change, I got rejected again and again. There were so many moments I questioned myself. But every rejection, every mistake, taught me something. Especially with money — I learned the hard way. And slowly, that struggle turned into my purpose. I started hosting small events, helping friends, creating free content… and now it’s grown into my work. Not because I had it all figured out, but because I never want others to feel as lost as I once did. So if you’re in that tough phase right now, please know: it doesn’t last forever. You are building something, even if you can’t see it yet. And your journey — just like mine — is still being written. 🌱 #growthjourney #journey #canada #immigrant #dream
