if i invested 20k and left it for 70 years it would turn into 4.3m assuming a 8% return per year (which is reasonable). if i did a energy mutual fund investment the 12,000 a year would only return me 840,000. unless you reinvest the returns off that (12,000 a year at 8% for 70 years would yield 32.6m!) it would not be advisable. make sure to invest your dividends 👌
