Venice Is neither underrated nor overrated. It's simply one of the most unbelievable masterpiece on earth, a overwhelming architecture and artistic experience that literally throw you back to the Renaissance and to classics. With the pieces of art of a little church in Venice you could fill in a giant museum in Texas and ask people pay 40$ to visit it.
