I have found with educating myself, noticing, in the moment feeling the feelings and knowing it’s temporary. If I can put off the gratification of a reaction, I can usually say to myself “I’m too tired for this today, we don’t do this anymore” even if it’s real, I’m just too tired at this point and it goes away. People are allowed to have a flawed opinion of me. They just haven’t put the time and effort into really getting to know me. That’s okay.
