@basecoatstories: happy easter!! 🐰🥕 celebrating with a beginner friendly carrot nail hack using regular nail polish, a bobby pin and tooth picks! 🩵 I promise, this design is really doable! 🙏🏻 Make sure your orange nail polish is nice and fresh and your tool is coated in a generous amount of polish! You don’t need to worry about going straight, since every curve in your carrot will just make it look cuter and natural! With the greenery, you’ll want to make sure that your base is completely dry! I apply a layer of top coat to make sure my base color stays intact. Only apply the green for one carrot at a time and then go back in with your toothpick when the nail polish is still wet. if you find that your greenery isn’t full enough after you frizz it out, you can always add a bit more green and give more structure with the toothpick.
