Dermatologist here- it can be out of the fridge for up to 2 weeks so take it out when you remember it hurts less at room temp!!!

lay down flat on the sofa and do the upper thigh. you need the muscle to be relaxed (less pain that way). I put a pillow over my face so I can’t see it coming

Highly recommend icing for at least 15 min and spraying the area with lidocaine spray. Still sucks but a little better
