@andyai14: Tried to turn the M5Stack Cardputer into a pocket oscilloscope — here’s what I’ve got so far! What works: • Single channel, 0–3.3V, frequency measurement • Trigger and auto-scale • Built-in test signal (100Hz–10kHz) • Keyboard control Right now you can view the test signal — just connect two pins on the Grove port and you’ll see a nice square wave on the screen. You can even change the frequency from the keyboard. Limitations: • Grove Port A has built-in pull-up resistors (it’s made for I2C), so weak signals are hard to see — you need a low-impedance source • Sampling speed with analogRead() is about 20–50k samples/sec — fine for audio, not for RF • Small screen (240×135), but perfect for a pocket device Hardware: M5Stack Cardputer v1.1 (ESP32-S3, 240×135 display, keyboard, battery — all in your pocket) #cardputer #esp32 #osciloscope #DIY #m5stack
